Our top pick at a glance
Levoit Core 300-P Air Purifier
- ✔ Dimensions: 8.7 × 8.7 × 14.2 in
- ✔ Weight: 7.9 lb
- ✔ Controls: Touch panel
What you get for winter indoor air
The Core 300-P uses a 3-in-1 HEPA-grade filter that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. The listed contaminants include pet dander, pollen, dust, cigarette and wildfire smoke, odors and VOCs.
Its 56-watt motor delivers up to 143 CFM CADR. The stated coverage is up to 1,073 square feet, with 222 square feet specified at higher CADR, so consider the smaller figure when you want stronger cleaning performance in a room.
A quieter fit for bedrooms
Sleep mode is rated at 24 dB, and the display can be turned off. That makes the purifier easier to live with at night, when bright controls or steady fan noise can be distracting.
Touch controls, a filter-change indicator and a timer with 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour settings keep operation simple. You set the fan speed manually; there is no smart connectivity or automatic mode.
Should you buy during Black Friday?
Buy during Black Friday if you already need a purifier, the Core 300-P suits the room where you plan to use it, and the event offer makes its overall value feel worthwhile. Its quiet sleep mode and broad list of filtered particles give it practical appeal through the heating season.
Wait if you are still comparing room coverage or want automatic controls and app connectivity. Also factor in replacement filters: they are proprietary and may add to the ongoing cost, so an appealing event offer matters less if filter ownership does not suit your budget.
A practical checklist before checkout
- Match the room to the stated 222-square-foot coverage at higher CADR if stronger cleaning is your priority.
- Decide whether manual fan-speed selection works for your routine.
- Check that proprietary replacement filters are easy for you to source and acceptable as a recurring expense.
- Compare the Black Friday offer with the value of waiting; there is no need to buy solely because it is a sale event.
